There is plenty to do for all age groups in this vibrant community. This section provides information on the various group activities available to join in Merthyr Cynog Community. Most are held in our community hall, as well other venues nearby.
There are many groups and organisations which hold regular meetings and get-togethers such as Pontfaen Young Farmers Club (YFC), the Evergreens and WI. In addition to this there are annual events which take place in the community centre such as our New Year Party, Easter events, the Upper Chapel Eisteddfod, Summer sports and children’s events, Harvest Supper and an enjoyable family Christmas party to finish the year in style.
