The Parish of Merthyr Cynog extends from the bridge in the picturesque Pontfaen to just north of Castell Madoc, and includes the land to the right of the river in Lower Chapel.


We are a growing community with a varied demographic. Many of the events hosted by Merthyr Cynog Community are family orientated, with plenty to do for all age groups.
