Congratulations to Pontfaen YFC B team!! Their entertainment production, Bridget Jones’s Dairy, made it into the top two, and is going through to the gala evening and results night!
We don’t know yet whether Pontfaen has been placed first or second but either way they’ve done the community proud! As a small club competing against some much larger groups our local YFC have really pulled together to gain recognition as a young club ‘on the up’!
As well as the fantastic result for the entertainment, our one-plus entries did extremely well too! Sian Healy and gang’s Popular entry won second place and Johnny Davies’s fantastic drumming skills earned him a very close run fourth place! George Cooper entered his ‘I was wonderin’ ‘ with Pontfaen A team which was enjoyed, with plenty of laughs!
The club also had nominations for best under 18 actress and actor, namely Rebecca Price as Bridget Jones and Raiff Devlin as Flashhard the Bull! Well done you two, fully deserved !
The gala evening takes place on Wednesday 19th February, 7pm at Theatre Brycheiniog- we’ll keep you posted with the final result!
